How to pronounce my name:

I’m primarily interested in questions about the mind. My current research focuses on whether and how attention modifies perceptual consciousness. I work across different explanatory levels, including the phenomenal, representational, and neural levels. I'm particularly interested in how these levels are related and whether the effects of attention across them can be explained by a common underlying mechanism.

More broadly, I’m interested in the relation between philosophy and the empirical sciences, and in how empirical findings can inform philosophy. Recently, I've also been thinking about the epistemic role of perception, especially how human knowledge might be constrained by the architecture of our perceptual system.
